Distinguished Delegates,
We hope you that you are enjoying yourselves over the break and soaking up all the sun rays.
With this newsletter, we would like to inform you of our latest and upcoming events as well as what to look forward to in the coming fall semester. In addition to that, read about what our board has been up to so far and what awaits you in the upcoming semester.
Summer Barbecue Recap
A few weeks ago we held the first event of our new board and we are truly happy with how it turned out!
Our yearly summer barbecue took place on Monday, the 18th of July - and we were more than delighted to welcome so many of our members! Our Head of Events, Deniz, made sure that everyone had a cold drink and delicious food on the grill.
We were truly lucky with the weather and enjoyed the warm evening sun. It was the perfect occasion to see all the members again (as well as our special guest, Nera (Darya’s dog)), catch up and share our summer experiences so far. The chatting and laughter lasted until well after nightfall. It was the first of many marvellous events coming up in the next semester.
A huge thank you to everyone for joining us!
What has the new board been up to?
After a smooth transition, the new board quickly picked up where predecessors left off and started planning for the coming semester. This academic year will have a lot in store for MUN Team UZH, so keep an eye out for exciting announcements!
We have already started preparations for our first conference which will be RhodesMRC 2022 and we are naturally looking forward to starting up our weekly sessions at the beginning of the semester. Our new Head of Operations Melkon will have a plethora of interesting topics in store for you.
Moreover, our Head of Events, Deniz, is working on fun events throughout the year. The first one being the Veterans Event in September, where we hope to see all of you again, as is at this point tradition. Keep an eye out for more details in our WhatsApp group chat or the Website.
Last but not least we'd like to especially thank former board members Lorenz, Jenny, Eliseo, Ridika, Amin and Patrik for their tireless work over the last year and for laying the groundwork for us to adapt and continue with MUN no matter the situation. We really appreciate your guidance in transitioning into our new roles on the board!
