We hope you have successfully conquered your exams and are looking forward to the long summer break!
In this very last newsletter of the academic year 2023/24 we will look back on on our wonderful GA and have the pleasure of introducing our newly elected board.
Farewell from our President
As anticipated, the year 2023/2024 has been a remarkably successful one for the MUN Team UZH association. Having hosted two Irchel Bar events and an intriguing “UZH Instagram Takeover”, we were able to expand our presence at the university. We are delighted at the new members who joined our association this year, I know that they have a bright future here with the MUN Team UZH.
Throughout the year we discussed many engaging topics and had the lovely opportunity to go to some prestigious conferences in Oxford, Ljubljana, Rome and Lausanne. Between sessions, we enjoyed entertaining events and hosted many delightful beer delegations. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the delegates for their hard work and dedication to this association.
Looking ahead, we are excited to see what the new board will achieve in 2024/2025 and which thrilling conferences they will lead us to. We wish them the best of luck and great success in their upcoming endeavors.
Personally, it has been an incredible pleasure to preside over the board for 2023/2024, and it is an honor I will cherish. I thank the board, the members, and everyone else who helped make this year outstanding.

General Assembly 2024
On 25 May 2024, the members of our association got together to celebrate the past year of MUN.
During the General Assembly, the board provided a comprehensive overview of their activities and noteworthy achievements of the academic year 2023/2024. Before its discharge, the board presented awards to honour some of the especially outstanding members of our association. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Rookies of the Year Letizia Ugolotti and Nandin Kriplaney, as well as to our Best Delegate Luis Schaller, to Kai Schärer for receiving the Brokatzky Award and to Phil Arnold for being the most loyal Beer Delegate.
After the election of the new board, we gathered in the office garden for a delightful evening. Thank you to all our members for making this a wonderful conclusion to our MUN year!
