Hey there! My name is Tara and I study law at UZH. The reason I first joined MUN was simply to try something new. When joining however, I discovered a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for global affairs and know how to have a good time. MUN has given me, as I am sure it has given many others, a space to feel welcome and accepted. Through MUN, I've honed my skills in articulating arguments, mastering the art of writing position papers overnight, and gaining extensive knowledge on the various topics we delve into. Most importantly, it has given me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone and engage in public speaking.
I joined the board to become more involved in the association, to see the inner workings of a student organisation and to do something good for our dear members.
As President, my role involves assisting fellow board members and participating in event planning and organization. Should you have any questions about MUN or our association, please don't hesitate to email me or speak to me directly. I'm excited to meet many new faces this year!
